31-21, that was the score  of the Lions final game of the season. With the loss, the Lions become the first team ever to finish 0-16. But there not the only team ever to finish winless. In the year of 1976, the exapantion bucs finished 0-14. But the Lions are an older franchise, not a new one. 

The Lions do have an excuse though. They have had QB woes all season. Losing Kitna first to the IR. Then Orvlsky got injured for a few weeks. Then Stanton went to the IR. They signed Daunte Culpepper , but he got hurt. But they thankfully got Orvlsky back.  

Hopefully now the Lions will learn from there mistakes. And they might make the playoffs soon. Not next year, but soon.
